Each day, our team started with a brief bible study and some grub. Long days were expected so we made sure to eat and stay hydrated!
Located in downtown Spruce Pine, our hot meals were prepped and served to all who stopped by including locals and volunteers!
Daily briefings from military, police, fire/EMS, rescue task force teams, and federal agencies occurred here. Our team was lucky enough to feed the hard-working a hot meal!
Feeding the hungry was our main task, but clearing trees and debris was also a frequent side mission in the area!
Many homes and businesses were impacted by landslides and erosion. With the use of 4K drone footage and some repelling rigs, we were able to recover some valuables in the debris!
North Carolina gets cold at night! It was our mission to patch roofs and walls, install windows, doors, and provide a heat source for those without power!
We are beyond blessed to have supporting donors of supplies, home goods, rebuilding material, and resources to aid in our efforts in affected disaster areas. Our warehouse site holds all of our donated goods in an organized fashion so packaging for a delivery is a breeze.
In the midst of disaster, having the right contacts is essential. Our team establishes consistent communication with those like us who want to do anything in their power to help those in need. We would like to say a special thank you to Jimmy, Randy with Mid-States Asphalt Company along with Tuscaloosa, AL for partnering with us in this mission.
